VEED Student Discount (2026): What You Actually Get

Key Takeaways

• Mostly - VEED has an official education program (free Pro for verified teachers) and runs student offers through verification partners; there is no permanent public student rate.
• Eligibility and claim steps below are from VEED's official pages, checked October 2026.
• Krater offers 15% off for one year at /students - one workspace with 500+ models instead of a single tool.

What VEED actually offers students

VEED's education page offers verified teachers a free VEED Pro account - though applications periodically pause, so check whether the form is open when you apply.

For students specifically, VEED's discounts run through verification partners like SheerID and seasonal promo campaigns rather than a standing student plan. Coupon sites list active student offers, but the reliable route is: check the education page, then look for the verification prompt at checkout.

How to claim the VEED student discount

1. Check VEED's education page first - teachers get free Pro when applications are open.
2. If you are a student, look for the student verification option at checkout or via VEED's offers page.
3. Verify status through the partner (typically SheerID) and the discount applies at checkout.

The gotchas worth knowing

• The teacher program pauses. VEED periodically closes applications - a paused form does not mean the program ended.
• Coupon sites oversell. '85% off VEED' claims on aggregator sites are usually affiliate coupons, not a student program - trust the verification flow, not the code.

If you are not eligible - the cheaper route

VEED's free plan covers editing, subtitles and screen recording with a watermark - enough for coursework in many cases.

And if what you actually need is AI help across the board - writing, research, images, video, coding - a single-tool discount is still a single tool. Krater's student offer takes 15% off for a year on a workspace that bundles 500+ models for a flat $20/month list price. Compare VEED's full pricing with Krater's plans before deciding.
