How to Cancel Monica

On the web (monica.im)

1. Sign in to Monica on the web or the browser extension.
2. Open your account and go to subscription management.
3. Click Unsubscribe under Current Plan and confirm.

What happens after you cancel

• Your plan does not renew, but stays usable until the paid period ends.
• Then the account falls back to the free plan with 40 basic queries a day.
• Unused advanced credits do not carry over.

Refund policy

Monica treats subscription payments as final. Partial refunds are possible only at its discretion, based on unused credits, and are refused for promo or discounted purchases. EU, UK and Turkey residents can withdraw within 14 days of purchase. Approved refunds take 1 to 15 business days.

The gotchas that trip people up

• Discounted plans are not refundable. If you bought on a flash sale, assume the money is gone.
• Plans are mostly yearly. Cancelling stops the next yearly renewal, not the current year.
• Mobile subscriptions live in the store. Cancelling on the website does not touch an App Store or Google Play plan.

Why people actually cancel

Three reasons come up over and over in the threads complaining about this:

• "Unlimited" has a ceiling. After 1,600 advanced queries a month you are throttled to 100 a day.
• A sidebar is not a workspace. Heavy users want projects, agents and files.
• Yearly lock-in. Paying a year upfront for a tool you use occasionally stings.

If that is why you are leaving

If the reason is cost or juggling, the answer is not another single-tool subscription, it is consolidation. Krater Pro is $20 a month and gives you 500+ models, agents, image and video in a full workspace instead of a sidebar. Browse the full model list. Teams get 5 seats on Max for $119 flat instead of per-seat billing.

The free plan keeps 40 basic-model queries a day.
