How to delete your ClickUp account
- If you own a Workspace with other people in it, transfer ownership, remove the other users or delete the Workspace first.
- Click your personal avatar (upper-right) and select Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom, click Delete Account, read the confirmation page, enter your password and click Confirm.
Signed up with Google? Run the reset-password flow first so you have a password to confirm with. For a formal GDPR deletion request, contact ClickUp Support.
Before you delete
- Export tasks, docs and attachments you need. Deletion cannot be reversed.
- Cancel the paid plan first so the Workspace stops billing.
- Workspaces using SSO need SSO disabled (owners) or you need to leave the Workspace (members) before deleting.
What happens after you delete
Deletion permanently removes your ClickUp account. Workspaces you owned are removed only if you deleted them first; shared Workspaces you left keep their data for the remaining members.
Deleting removes your account; it does not get you a refund for the current billing period. If you are leaving because of the price, there is a cheaper way to keep the same capability.

Can I recover my ClickUp account after deleting it?
No. Deletion is permanent - the account and its data are removed and cannot be restored.
