How is a Persona different from a custom GPT?
Both start from saved instructions. A custom GPT runs only on OpenAI models inside ChatGPT. A Persona runs on the Smart Auto Router across 400+ models, and the same chat can create images, video and music, use your connected apps and files, and run on a schedule.
Can I import my custom GPTs into Krater?
Yes. Paste your GPT's instructions when creating a Persona and Krater turns them into a Persona draft with a name, avatar, welcome message and suggested prompts. Review it, then save.
How are Personas different from OpenAI Dots, Grok Bots or Meta Muse?
Dots, Grok Bots and Muse are each tied to one company's models, and some are limited to certain countries. Personas run on every leading model through the Smart Auto Router, work with your apps and Keep files, run on schedules through Tasks, and are available now.
Is a Persona like a Gemini Gem or a Claude Project?

Yes. Type @ followed by the Persona's name in any Krater chat and it answers that message with its own instructions, without leaving your chat.
Can a Persona work on a schedule?
Yes. Create a Task, choose Run as Persona and pick when it runs. The Persona does the work with its own instructions and the results land in your Krater.
Can I change a Persona someone else made?
Yes. Open any public Persona in Additions and choose Remix. You get your own copy with its instructions, avatar and prompts, ready to edit.
Can I create my own Persona?
Yes. Open Additions, choose Create and describe what it should do. Krater writes the instructions, you pick one of three generated avatars and save. Keep it private or publish it so others can use it.
