How to delete your Sudowrite account
- Cancel the subscription first: Account > Manage subscription > Cancel.
- Open Account settings.
- Use Delete account and confirm.
- If the option is not visible, email hi@sudowrite.com from the account address.
Before you delete
- Export every project - manuscripts in Sudowrite are not recoverable after deletion. Use the export/download option per project.
- Copy your Story Bible entries if you want to reuse them.
- Cancelling billing and deleting the account are separate steps; billing must be off first.
What happens after you delete
Deletion removes your account, projects and credit history. Exported files on your machine are untouched.
Deleting removes your account; it does not get you a refund for the current billing period. If you are leaving because of the price, there is a cheaper way to keep the same capability.
