How to delete your Windsurf account

1. Cancel Windsurf Pro first: windsurf.com dashboard > Settings > Billing > Manage subscription > Cancel.
2. Sign in at windsurf.com and open Account settings.
3. Use Delete account and confirm.
4. Deleting the account signs you out of the editor - uninstall the app separately.

Team seat members must be removed by the workspace admin before deleting their own account.

Before you delete

• Local code on your machine is untouched - nothing to back up there.
• Synced settings, Cascade conversations and usage history are deleted with the account.
• Cancelling billing and deleting the account are separate steps; billing must be off first.

What happens after you delete

Deletion removes your account, settings sync and Cascade history. The editor app remains installed but unusable until signed in again.

Deleting removes your account; it does not get you a refund for the current billing period. If you are leaving because of the price, there is a cheaper way to keep the same capability.
