How to delete your Intercom workspace

  1. Cancel the subscription first: Settings > Subscription > Manage plan > cancel (billing admin).
  2. Go to Settings > Workspace settings > General.
  3. Use Delete workspace and confirm.
  4. Some enterprise contracts require a support ticket - Intercom support processes the deletion from the admin email.

Removing your own teammate profile is different from deleting the workspace - teammates leave via Settings > Teammates.

Before you delete

What happens after you delete

Deletion removes the workspace, inbox history, contacts and help center. Customer data is purged under Intercom's retention schedule.

Deleting removes the workspace; it does not get you a refund for the current billing period. If you are leaving because of the price, there is a cheaper way to keep the same capability.

Leaving because of the price?

If Intercom's per-seat plus per-resolution billing was the problem, Krater gives you an AI agent connected to your apps plus 500+ models for a flat $20/month Pro plan - no per-resolution meter. Compare plans on our Intercom pricing breakdown.

Do I get a refund when I delete the workspace?

Deleting the workspace does not trigger a refund. Cancel the subscription first and check Intercom's refund policy.

Is deleting the same as cancelling?
