How to Delete Your Zapier Account (Permanently)

Step-by-step: delete your Zapier account the right way - downgrade to Free first, turn off and back up your Zaps, then remove the account permanently.

How to Delete Your Zapier Account (Permanently)

How to delete your Zapier account

  1. Cancel the paid plan first: zapier.com > Settings > Billing > downgrade to Free.
  2. Sign in at zapier.com and open Settings > Profile > Account.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm the prompts.
  4. If the option is not visible - for example on some company-managed accounts - Zapier support processes the deletion for you.

Team and Enterprise members on someone else's workspace cannot delete the workspace; only the owner can.

Before you delete

What happens after you delete

Deletion removes your account, Zaps, task history and connected-app authorizations. Nothing local on your machine is affected.

Deleting removes your account; it does not get you a refund for the current billing period. If you are leaving because of the price, there is a cheaper way to keep the same capability.

Leaving because of the price?

If Zapier's per-task billing was the problem, Krater gives you an agent connected to 40+ apps plus 500+ AI models in one workspace for a flat $20/month Pro plan. Compare plans on our Zapier pricing breakdown or see every model we support.

FAQ

Can I recover my Zapier account after deleting it?

No. Deletion is permanent - Zaps, history and app connections are removed and cannot be restored.

Do I get a refund when I delete my account?

Deleting the account does not trigger a refund. Downgrade the subscription first and check Zapier's refund policy.

Is deleting the same as cancelling?

No. Downgrading stops future billing but keeps your account and Zaps. Deleting removes the account entirely. Most people should downgrade first, keep using Free until the period ends, then delete.
