Attach your logo, describe the reveal, and the AI agent renders it - our real test took 37 seconds and cost about 2 credits. Exact prompt included.

Most "AI logo animators" are template galleries - you pick a pre-made reveal and your logo gets dropped into it. Krater works differently: the chat agent controls a sandboxed computer with real graphics tooling. When you ask for an animation, it writes its own render script, runs it, and returns the video file. Your animation is made for your logo, not poured into a template.
Start a new chat, click the attachment button and drop the logo in. A PNG with transparency works best, but a normal JPG is fine - in our test the agent chose to recreate the mark vector-clean before animating it, which made the result sharper than the source.
Say what the finished animation should look like, not how to build it. This is the exact prompt we used:
"Animate this logo into a short logo reveal video (about 4 seconds, mp4). Do the animation and render yourself with the tools on your computer, then give me the finished file."
The last part matters - "do it yourself" is what turns the agent from advisor into animator. Without it, you get a helpful plan instead of a video.
The agent takes it from there. In our test it analyzed the attached logo, recreated the hexagon mark and wordmark cleanly, animated the mark building on screen, faded the wordmark in last, and rendered everything to a 1080x1080 MP4 - all inside its own sandbox, in 37 seconds of work.

The file comes back playable and downloadable right in the chat. Want changes? Say them - "slower build", "add a glow", "make it a GIF for email". The agent revises its own render like an assistant would, no re-prompting from scratch.
Our 4 second logo reveal ran about 2 credits. A longer or more complex animation - multiple scenes, characters, a full intro sequence - will cost more. Krater plans start at $9/month with 500 credits included, so a logo animation is roughly the price of a coffee stirrer, not a designer invoice.
If you want a generic spin-in or glitch reveal and do not care that a thousand other logos use the same one, Canva's animated logo maker or a Renderforest template is faster and free-ish. The difference: those are your logo inside someone else's animation. The agent makes an animation around your logo - your colors, your mark, your timing.
We build Krater, so we are obviously biased - but the video above is the real output from our own test account, and the credit number is the real charge on it.
No. ChatGPT can describe an animation or write code for you to run yourself, but it cannot render and hand you a video file inside the chat. The same goes for Claude and Gemini - they can advise or generate stills, not deliver an animated file.
MP4 for video and GIF for loops, in whatever aspect ratio you ask for - square for feeds, vertical for stories, wide for banners and headers.
Our 4 second reveal took 37 seconds of agent work. Simple animations finish in under a minute; multi-scene work takes longer and costs more credits.
Canva and Renderforest have free tiers, usually with watermarks or locked templates. For custom animation where the AI does the whole job, Krater's $9 plan includes enough credits for a lot of reveals.
Anything describable: draw-on, fade-in, spin, slide, particle-style builds, glow passes, bounce - plus animated text reveals and wordmark animations. If you can describe the motion, it can usually render it.
