- Sign in at zed.dev and open your account.
- Go to Billing / Plans.
- Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.
What happens after you cancel
- Pro features run until the end of the paid period.
- The editor keeps working - it is free software; only agent credits drop to the free allowance.
- Unused credits do not carry over or refund.
Refund policy
Zed does not advertise partial refunds and treats a paid period as final once it starts; EU and UK customers keep the 14-day withdrawal right. For a mistaken renewal, ask support within days.
The gotchas that trip people up
- BYOK is separate. If you ran your own API key, usage was billed by the provider - cancelling Zed does not refund provider charges.
- Only the owner sees billing. Business seats are managed by the workspace admin.
