How to delete your CapCut account
- Cancel CapCut Pro first if you have it - in the App Store, Google Play or capcut.com, wherever you subscribed.
- Open the CapCut app, tap Me, then the settings icon.
- Go to Account and choose Delete account.
- Confirm the warnings - the account and its cloud data are removed.
You can also request deletion through the privacy settings on capcut.com if you no longer have the app installed.
Before you delete
- Drafts stored only on your device are wiped when you uninstall - export finished videos first.
- Cloud projects and templates are removed with the account.
- Cancelling Pro and deleting the account are separate; billing must be cancelled in the store you used.
What happens after you delete
Deletion removes your profile, cloud projects and purchase history. Videos already exported to your device are untouched.
